Choosing The Right Bling For Your Lifestyle

You probably already know it's not practical to wear honkin' big rings or bracelets if you work a lot with your hands, but did you know that your lifestyle and environment should also help you determine which other bling to wear or not to wear? Today, I'll be breaking this down into several bite-sized pieces for ya as it relates to our country lifestyle.

  • WORK DAYS when you're doing chores, feeding animals, rounding up cows and the like. If you absolutely can't survive without bling during this time, choose small pieces in solid, non-tarnishing metals (gold, Argentium silver, titanium, platinum) with no gemstones, or with a minimal number of hard gemstones such as diamonds, sapphires, or garnet. Avoid wearing turquoise because it's a soft and porous stone which can easily get damaged in the course of your work day.
  • WORKDAY NIGHTS when you're relaxing at home, spending time with family, or having friends over for an informal dinner. You can wear some turquoise in the evening, but try to stick to smaller pieces and mostly earrings and necklaces as that gorgeous, big turquoise ring or bracelet can still get easily damaged while you're cooking dinner. If you've got lil' ones under the age of 5 at home, avoid delicate necklaces or earrings too, 'cause they can easily get pulled and broken by little hands that don't know their own strength. • WEEKENDS out on the town or Sundays going to church. These are the times to go all out on your turquoise bling. Show it off, and the more of it the better. No size of style limits here. This is the time for you and your turquoise bling to shine. Click the pictures below to shop ⬇️

Now, if you've got a piece or two of our bling and something horrible happened to them - like they got broken, or an earring got lost - don't be shy to email us. We'll do our best to fix it for you if at all possible.

Also, if you need an adjustment on a piece you bought from us to fit your lifestyle better, email our Boss Lady, and she'll brainstorm with you how to help that piece best fit your lifestyle.
